I have used Firefox for many years and have been very impressed with the customization and addons it has provided me.
When I heard about Firefox OS, I saw it as an opportunity to break the monopoly that Google and Apple have had over smart phones for years. Not only that, but eventually I would love to see it evolve into something that is completely cross-platform; an OS built on the standards of the open web that isn't held back by all the proprietary and DRM that dominates the market today.
I have always supported Mozilla's mission to have an open web, and I think Firefox OS can have a big impact on that.
