- Developers who submit an app on the Firefox Marketplace and publish the source code of their creations deserve to get this badge.
Open souce is promoted by Mozilla, but in the Markeplace the apps with a link to their source code aren't so much. This badge certificates that the owner is aware of open source importance and he supports Mozilla in promoting the open source.
How to earn:
- submit an app on Marketplace
- publish source code (on Github for example)
- add link to the source code in the app description
- nominate yourself
- tweet or send a email to me with the link to your marketplace app (in the tweet add @mozmarketplace @nicokant #openapp)
